Who We Are

Oxlades has been in business for over 110 years and supplies Australia with fine art materials. In 1910, brothers William, George, Allen, Matt and Bryan Oxlade formed the art and art materials retail store and called it Oxlade Bros Proprietary Limited, Painters, Decorators, and Signwriters.

The historic location in Fortitude Valley has been in the same location for over 100 years. The family opened additional locations in Noosaville, Cairns, and Perth. In the last five decades, the Oxlade family has expanded their business to include wholesale for schools and retail shops.

Still a family-owned and operated business today, Oxlades is proud of our long-running good reputation for quality and commitment to our customers.
